A
Night to Remember... I
am out of sorts today - the constant cold weather and ground cover of what seems to be permanent snow has caused a bad case
of ennui. So, I am going to take a day off from writing and wend my way to the couch to curl up with yet another good book.
Maybe that will take my mind off my winter blahs.
One novel that did just that last week was Night in Shanghai by Nicole Mones. Set in the partitioned city of Shanghai during the tumultuous times immediately preceding World War II,
this stunning literary narrative stirred my soul and warmed my heart. This is Mones' fourth novel and is historical novel
writing at its best.
Skate on over to www.authorexposure.com to read my review of this novel that was just posted this morning. I am sure you will warm up to reading it.
