If the subjects of my last two entries, including this one, are any indication, then I must be in a nautical mood. And
although I thoroughly enjoyed reading A Cruise to Die For by Charlotte and Aaron Elkins, I had some difficulty with Sea Creatures by Susanna Daniel.
Daniel's second novel
is, in a good way, a bit quirky. For one, it certainly brought me way out of my reading comfort zone and introduced me to
some very interesting, if not unnerving characters. For two, through its pages, I was not only transported down to the coast
of Florida where off-shore houses are built on stilts, but I learned a bit about Miami culture and marine life.
Please take the time to swim over to http://www.authorexposure.com/ and read my review. You may decide this is yet another intriguing novel worth exploring.
