Short and Sweet

The title of this posting is not an allusion to my height or demeanor, but to its length. I'm going to keep it simple today.

Over the weekend I discovered, for FrankieBernard, the Pacific Basset Feet—he is now an Ensign First Class, sniffer of stories and keeper of the ship's log—and through them, the Western Missouri Basset Rescue, Inc. This non-profit organization is dedicated to the rescue and placement of needy and neglected Basset Hounds in the Kansas City area. Here's a link to their site: http://www.wmbri.org, which I encourage you to access to read about the good works they are doing.

Because...

For the next few months, a portion of the royalties from the sale of my—and FrankieB's—book  The Basset Chronicles, will be donated to this worthy cause. It's our way of sharing our talents to help the helpless and homeless hounds who are much less fortunate than we are.

Please click amazon.com or one of the links on the left pane of this Web site and place your order!

On behalf of his Basset buddies in KC, FrankieB and I thank you!

Happy Reading!
June
